Grimm Season Four: Is Nick Going to Regain His Power Back?
Grimm's Season 3 ended with a lot of cliffhanger. Nick (David Giuntoli) was stripped of his powers at Monroe's (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalie's (Bree Turner) wedding. Fans are wondering what is in store for them this season. The cast of the popular show greeted their fans - the Grimmsters, at the recently concluded Comic-Con.
For the upcoming season, Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) is forced to become Nick's "grimm seeing eye." As reported by TVGuide, Guintoli said, "Trubel is now my seeing-eye Grimm. I would hope I get the powers back on some level, but domestic life is much easier when I'm not having to kill monsters." For the rest of season 4, Nick is going to battle some issues about his identity. He will ask questions such as does he really wants to be a Grimm.
So what will happen to Monroe and Rosalee after the wedding? Mithchell said during an interview at Comic-con that "We try and make a honeymoon but things are complicated in Portland these days." Bree Turner said, "The Grimm has been un-Grimmed, things are turned upside-down. We are exposed now as Wesen harboring this Grimm. We put ourselves on the line with this wedding and Rosalee's worst nightmare came true with the Red Wedding sequel."
Executive Producer David Greenwalt said that season 4 will deal with deep issues such as the true meaning of "the key." He also added, "There will be another key this year. We'll answer what those seven keys mean and what they lead to." They also revealed that Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) is going to be brought back in an "interesting way."
According to the cast and the producers of the show, season 4 will introduce new Wesen. Greenwalt said, "We'll see a Chupacabra this season, plus the Gedächtnis Esser, aka Octo-Man, who steals your identity in a very disgusting way."
Grimm will return on October 24.
