Dragon Ball Z Release Date: Set on May 2015 as a sequel to Battle of the Gods
The saga continues as Dragon Ball Z release date is set on May 2015 which is none too far off - a treat for fans of the series.
Dragon Ball Z's original creator shared Dragon Ball Z news of his own, saying that the upcoming movie will be a continuation of the previous movie, Battle of the Gods.
What's very interesting is that Akira Toriyama has been credited for major roles such as original concept, screenplay and character designs for this movie - an indication that the mangakas himself has been hands on during production. Dragon Ball Z will be directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro and will be hitting Japanese theaters by Golden Week (which is often set on early May). Unfortunately for those who are hoping that there will be an English dub to come along with it in a simultaneous manner, there has been no confirmed news on that part as of the moment, though the international adaptation will be out within the following year.
Dragon Ball Z rumors have also been circulating around the internet, thanks to the cryptic trailer that has been released none too long ago. It hinted of the 'worst wish ever made' and about 'reviving' someone. Though there has been little to no information about who is this person, some speculate that it would be a recurring character from the previous movie of Goku's own father, but both had been debunked by the creator himself.
To note, the Dragon Ball: Battle of the Gods movie was the first film adaptation of Toriyama's famous manga series in 17 years and due to its immense popularity and hype, it gave way for the upcoming film's green light.
