Boxtrolls Movie Release Date, Trailer, Reveals and Rumors: Upcoming Animation Movie from Laika Entertainment to Light up Screens Next Month
This is the latest thing to come out of Laika Entertainment which is a quirky animation studio, which is enough of a hint as what the audience should expect. The release date for the Boxtrolls movie is September 26 this year, which is roughly the same time as the release of Antoine Fuqua's Equalizer. The Boxtrolls is a community of quirky and mischievous creatures who have raised an orphan human boy called Eggs. They have built a cavernous home under the streets of cheesebridge. The town's villain is Archibald Snatcher, played by Ben Kingsley. He comes up with a plot to get rid of the boxtrolls.
In order to save his family, Eggs goes above ground and meets with a human girl called Winnie, played by Elle Fanning. Together they team up and reveal the connections of Eggs past and why he is an orphan and come up with a plan in order to save his family. This is one of those minority movies where one group is peaceful and just wants to be left alone. On the other hand, as obvious as this is to us, it is less apparently so for the humans in the movie who want to get rid of them at first sight. Similarly, egg has a long way to in terms of realization of who he really is.
Actually, it takes some convincing for him to believe that he is a real boy. This is going to be one of those creepy installments with a lot of lace and humor and a lot of artistry in between. The trailer of the movie was released at the recent San Diego Comic Con event. If you watch it you will realize the certain type of visual style and humor that is incorporated. We should expect some high quality performances in the movie from Elle Fanning, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Tracy Morgan.
