We have the latest for you on the release, snapshot, reports and rumors of Minecraft 1.8 PC update. Minecraft's patch 1.8 has now gone live across all the clients after it had been previously released in snapshot form. Titled "The Bountiful Update" patch 1.8, is possibly the largest update to Minecraft after it was launched. It not only has a large quantity of new content added but also dozens of fixes, alterations, adjustments and functionality have been added to the game across the board. There is something for everyone to enjoy in the Minecraft 1.8 update; from the casual players to the hardcore server runners.
These additions however, are only a start of the patch. Other features like Villagers learning to farm and creeper Al being upgraded to attack Iron Golems are just but a few examples of how drastically the world of Minecraft will be changing with the patch 1.8. In the Minecraft 1.8 Bountiful update, Herobrine has again been removed from the game although the players can expect the addition of a new slime block, new dirt and stone to take your trusty pickaxe to killing a sheep will reward the players with a collectible mutton. There is also additional water content which has been added and players will now have access to the Ocean Monument, Prismarine and Sea Lantern blocks and Guardian and Ender Guardian enemies.
There is also introduction of new game modes in this update as an all-new spectator mode is now available giving the players an opportunity to watch others play Minecraft at their own leisure. A new customized world type has also been included in the most recent update. These are very great changes and if these are not enough changes for you, then the official changelog notes there are 'lots and lots of other changes. The game's lead developer said, These changes consist a large game structure such as replacing the hard cored 'block renderer' with a system that is able to block shaped from data files, or performance enhancements such as multi-threading the client-side chunk rendering."
