The Sims 4 News: Latest Incarnation of the Life Simulation Game Released this September; Gets Mixed Reviews; Console Version Seems Unlikely
The Sims 4 news: EA Maxis and The Sims Studio have released the Microsoft Windows version of the popular life simulation game, The Sims 4, all across North America.
A version of The Sims 4 for Mac has been confirmed, but a release date has not been announced. A console version of The Sims 4 remains unlikely.
Similar to its previous version, The Sims 3, The Sims 4 lets players create a personalized virtual world for their Sims. Functions such as Create a Sim and the game's Build Mode have been improved for more flexibility.
Multitasking features have been added; Sims can now talk while doing something. Plus, the mood of the Sims plays a bigger role in The Sims 4 gameplay, as it affects how the characters interact, their personalities, and how the game turns out.
The Sims 4 has also included more social features. Users can now import Sims and objects from other users into their own virtual world.
The Sims game has had different versions on different platforms since its development in 2000. The Sims popularity has waned in recent years, facing competition from newer and more interactive games in the market.
Gamers have given The Sims 4 mixed reviews.
