Flyleaf Reveals the Tracklist for "Between the Stars" & Announces Fall Tour (Video)

Christian rock band Flyleaf is preparing to release their brand new album "Between the Stars" on September 16. The new album will come in two configurations: the standard version as well as the deluxe edition. The standard package contains 12 songs while the special edition is graced with 4 additional new songs. The album will be the first with lead singer Kristen May, who only previously released an EP after Lacey Sturm's departure.
"For the first time, we went into the studio and let things happen. "It was about the energy and the spontaneity of a song more than anything. It was a very refreshing approach," May said of the recording process of Between the Stars, "It's the most emotional album I've ever been a part of. There are some really heavy things and lyrics that weren't easy to say. Everybody tried to be as raw as possible when we were writing and recording. That all came out in the songs."

"I'm really looking forward to getting on the road starting in October," said Kristen May in a press release, "We have a batch of new songs we've poured our hearts and souls into and I can't wait to play them live. The music really takes on a new life when our fans are singing with us and experiencing these songs in the moment. Also, I can't wait to listen to Ryan White and Lullwater each night. It's going to be a magical tour."
