New Faces for Friday - Meet Ayleron

Ayleron
Since 2007, Houston Dragna, Ryan Landry, Dustin Arceneaux, and Steven Joubert have been making praise and worship music with a rock flavor as Ayleron. Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana, the foursome has recorded over 20 songs and 3 EP's with a 4th album in the works. They've played retreats, concerts and camps across the southern part of the U.S. and have shared the stage with big names like Everyday Sunday, Matt Maher, and Philmont. In 2009, they had the honor of playing the Vans Warped Tour in Dallas, Texas.
The band's mission statement is simple: "We are here to spread God's love to the ends of the earth through the ministry of music that God has blessed us with. It is our promise to never hold the amount of love and grace that God has bestowed upon our heart, but with great humility to share it with all those that desire the love of our Savior. As missionaries, we travel not to preach, but to witness to the living God, the Word made flesh. Our music is not meant to convert, but to cast a light unto a God who saves."
While they may not have been snatched up by a record label, it's not for lack of passion or talent. Delicate piano meets thundering guitar with a perfect blend of bass and drums driving the beat and vocals that are right on time every time. I'm reminded of Jason Dunn's voice back in the early days of Hawk Nelson Is My Friend. This is a great band with a huge future ahead of them. But don't just take my word for it - check them out yourselves on their official website or on iTunes.
