New Faces for Friday - Meet The Exchange

The Exchange (2013)
Hailing from Silverdale, Washington, pop/rockers The Exchange, has been making music since 2010. Their 2011 debut EP Show Me How To Love as well as their most recent singles "Tell Me Your Story" and "Beautiful King" have garnered national airplay on Air-1 and K-Life. New Release Tuesday’s "Indie pick of the week" was also a finalist in Seattle’s Spirit 105.3 Local Music Project in 2012.
Their newest project, a self-titled EP, was recorded in Texas with producer Brooks Paschal at the helm and released just yesterday. It focuses on the importance of having a personal connection with God rather than just a "show up on Sunday" type of relationship and living in the "real world" while still walking in faith. In a press release, Mikey Moore talked about the release, saying, "There’s a huge disconnect with followers of Christ when it comes to actually having conversations with God. Conversation is something we must have with Him if we’re going to actually see growth and change in our lives." Britt Espinosa added, "The new EP is interesting because some of the songs were written over three years ago, some were written five months before we went into the studio, and one was practically written in the studio. When we compiled the songs for the EP, we found that they all had themes of wrestling with life's purpose and with God."
With the ability to rock your face off, make pure pop magic or take you straight to the Throne Room, this is a multi-faceted band with many talents. Their songs draw you in and make you feel at home.
