My Hope: Songs Inspired By the Message and Mission of Billy Graham
From the beautiful and moving piano-ballad by Lacey Sturm (formerly with Flyleaf) "The Reason" to soaring and touching piano led hymn “Jesus Take All Of Me (Just As I Am)” by Amy Grant, the moments of awe and worship are plentiful. Lacey's second track, "Mercy Tree," is another pure worship song that shows a side of her that is much different from the hard rocker who coud belt out the notes and the screams equally well when she fronted Flyleaf. Kari Jobe, Nichole Nordeman and Darlene Zschech round out the ladies in the line-up and each one of them shines brightly.
Not to be left out, the men do equally as well with their six contributions. Newsboys set the tone of standing firmly for Christ; Matthew West reminds us that God loves us so much that he sent him only begotten son while Israel Houghton and tobyMac each bring flavor to the table.
