Avengers 2: Age of Ultron Spoilers, Reveals, Reviews, Plot and Rumors: Scheduled to Premiere on May 1, 2015 in North America
Avengers: Age of Ultron is an upcoming American superhero film based on Marvel Comics super hero alliance known as the Avengers. The film is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the sequel to 2012's Marvel's The Avengers and the eleventh instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was scripted and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast that includes Chris Evans; Chris Hemsworth; Mark Ruffalo; Scarlett Johansson; Jeremy Renner; Cobie Smulders; Elizabeth Olsen; Aaron Taylor-Johnson and the brilliant actors Robert Downey, jr, James Spader and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie is scheduled to premiere on May 1, 2015 in North America in 2D and IMAX 3D.
The avengers first made its debut in The Avengers issue 1( September 1963), created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, following the trend of super hero teams after the success of DC Comics' Justice League of America. The original Avengers consisted of Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man, Wasp and the Hulk. Three issues later the first Avenger Capt. America was introduced. This shows the gradual growth and development of Marvel's Avengers up to the last point we saw it that was in 2012 with their release of The Avengers that seemed relatively large than the original six that founded the alliance. As a result, Marvel fans remain finger-crossed as they wait for the movie's release date.
This sequel was first announced in May 2012 after the success release of the first movie The Avengers. Due to the high ratings at the box office, the director of the first film, Whedon, was brought back on board and a release date set. By April 2013, Whedon had completed a draft of the script. Casting then began in June and re-signing of Downey in preparation for second unit filming that was to take place in February 2014 South Africa. The film was primarily shot at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England, with additional footage filmed in Italy, South Korea and various locations round England.
