'Jurassic World' Release Date: Trailers and Cast News Update
The fourth installment to the "Jurassic Park" franchise has been a content of many talks and speculations as far back as 2009. The production of the movie however was hit by so many problems that delays have been inevitable. For one, iconic movie producer Steven Spielberg did not plan to be involved with this movie. In the same manner, Jurassic Park III director Joe Johnston also passed on an opportunity to lead the fourth movie. This has caused all the delays. Jurassic Park fans can now rejoice though as the movie is finally set for release.
Michael Crichton released the bestseller novel "Jurassic Park" back in 1990. And today, twenty four years later, fans both from that generation and today's will be treated to yet another motion picture based on this novel. This movie will be set 22 years after the first one; and unlike most of its predecessors where we see characters scampering for safety away from the dinosaurs, this movie will work on the plot that it would be the people who will seek out the dinosaurs. This could be interesting.
Let us take a close look at this upcoming Jurassic World movie.
Colin Trevorrow, director of "Safety Not Guranteed" is the director of the movie with both Steven Spielberg and Joe Johnston opting not to come back with the franchise. He is a bit of a newcomer but has proven himself with "Safety Not Guaranteed." "Safety Not Guaranteed" was able to successfully impressed film-festival circuit, so hopefully, the same could be expected here.
The good thing going for the movie is that Chris Pratt of "Guardian of the Galaxy," "Zero Dark Thirty" and "The Delivery Man" is taking on the lead role. Pratt is recently on the roll as he was getting a lot of work. In fact, he was highly regarded today as the "busiest man" in the show business. Although he has been around in numerous movies and shows, this particular movie would potentially boost his career. Along with Chris Pratt, the movie will also have Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Judy Greer and Jake Johnson.
"Jurassic World" movie trailer is rumored to be released sometime in November. It could be launched during the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay 1" on Nov. 21. This is unofficial as of yet, but the release date of the movie is now set for June 12, 2015.
