Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Preview: The Whole Team Facing Changes
With the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" still waiting for May 2015 for its release, Marvel fans can still satisfy themselves with the Marvel superhero world through "Agents of SHIELD' Season 2. ABC TV will provide the platform for fans all over the world enjoy this series.
"Agents of SHIELD" season 2 will airs tonight at 9pm. If you are on a lookout for some relevant info into what you can expect from the rest of the season, read more and learn everything you need to know about this season.
Change is the only way to describe this new season. Tonight's premiere episode is entitled "Shadows" which basically tells us that the whole SHIELD will be in hiding. SHIELD will now be considered wanted fugitives, going underground with very limited resources. This is a far cry from what they were known to be back in season 1.
Agent Coulson will now be the director of SHIELD. His major objective is to reestablish SHIELD from the ashes of last season's finale into an organization that is accepted and trusted to be working for the common good. This means keeping Hydra from reinfiltrating their ranks. To do this, he will need to go back to the very roots of SHIELD.
Peggy Carter, still played by Hayley Atwell, will be making an appearance this season. She was first introduced in the SHIELD's world in the movie "Captain America: The First Avenger". Agent carter was a brilliant British agent who was a founding member of SHIELD. She will appear in a flashback in this season as Agent Coulson digs deep into the roots of SHIELD in his efforts to stop Hydra from infiltrating them and ultimately rebuild the team.
Aside from the current situation where the organization is in hiding to survive, with Agent Coulson now the Director, a slew of new members and casts will also be coming in. This is because Coulson is trying to rebuild the team so he is introducing fresh members. Change will never be complete with new faces. Notable new characters, among a number of them, include Agent Isabelle Hartley, played by Lucy Lawless, and mercenary Lance Hunter, portrayed by Nick Blood.
