"Resurrection" Season 2 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Did we really die?
The newest TV hit series, Resurrection, an American fantasy drama , is back once again to answer the question "Did we really die?" The show premiered with a high viewership of 13.9 million. The premise of the show is of course - that's right - people coming back to life.
And before the second season starts this September 28, let us back track a bit.
Even with just eight episodes in their first season, Resurrection was able to gather a lot of fans. We were all intrigued about a boy called Jacob.
Jacob Langston (Landon Jimenez), woke up in a field in China. He was unable to speak. Through the help of Immigration and customs agent J. Martin "Marty" Bellamy (Omar Epps), Jacob finally returns home. Bellamy found Jacob's family in Arcadia, Missouri. Shocked and confused, Jacob's parents, Lucille (Francis Fisher) and Henry Langston (Kurtwood Smith) finally revealed the truth: that Jacob had died about three decades ago.
But Jacob wasn't the only one. Other families also discovered that their loved ones have also returned. Some would simply accept it and say "It's a miracle!" Others would wonder, asking "Why" and "How"

Another captivating season will enfold. Bellamy will have to face and solve more mysteries! Resurrection followers might just fall off their seats.
In their first episode entitled "Revelation", Bellamy won't be able to recall a week of his life after being abandoned somewhere in Arcadia. And the Langston family is in for another surprise. What if another family member returns from the dead?
Jacob's grandmother, Margaret, is back from the dead! But she's been dead for over three decades. The new episode also teases that "more are coming!"
To kick-off Season two, Resurrection invited the following guests : Shawn Shepard as Dad Thompson; Michelle Fairley as Margaret Langston; Tamlyn Tomita as Toni Willis; Kathleen Munroe as Rachael and Donna Murphy as The Elegant Woman . "Revelation" episode was written by Aaron Zelman and directed by Christopher Misiano.
The hit series, which is an ABC presentation, is based on the book The Returned by Jason Mott.
