The Voice Season 7 Fall ratings is better than last year's
The Voice Season 7 ratings news: The Voice Season 7 is doing a pretty good job on the ratings game.
According to The Nielsen Company, The Voice Season 7 has a 4.10 rating among its 18-49 year old viewers, compared to last year's rating of 3.7. Plus, 13.2 million viewers tuned in to NBC's hit reality talent search this season, up from 12.3 million during its previous season.
Based on The Voice of Holland, the US version of The Voice first aired in April 2011.
The Voice Season 7 airs Monday and Tuesday evenings on NBC. The show is hosted by Carson Daly, with pop icons Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton as judges.
The Voice Season 7 advisers are seasoned performers Stevie Nicks, Gavin Rossdale, Little Big Town, Alicia Keys, and Taylor Swift.
TV executives are closely monitoring show ratings as this is a good gauge of whether a show will continue for another season. Higher ratings indicate better chances of staying on air.
A similar franchise, American Idol, is now on its 14th season.
So, will The Voice Season 7's performance be strong enough for NBC to consider the Voice Season 8? Fans will have to wait and see.
