Avatar 2 Reviews, Reveals, Casting Rumors, Release Date and Spoilers so far: Avatar 2, 3, 4 to be Among the First Movies to Use High Frame Rate 4K
Known for the high graphic intensity because of the CGI tech utilized within the movie, it is no surprise that the Avatar sequels which include Avatar 2, Avatar 3, and Avatar 4 will be the first movies to use the high frame rate system 4K, 3D system. Douglas Trumball's system provides about 120 frames a second. Apparently, Trumball stated that James Cameron admired the earlier frame rate system, but did not know for sure whether Cameron was actually interested in the new system. Apparently, THR reported that Trumball indicated he talked to directors who are very interested within the system.
Here it depends on the reactions of the top directors and their response to the system. Say if directors like Cameron, J.J Abrams and Peter Jackson want this then some traction is sure to be had in the progress. Apparently, "It delivers extreme fluidity of motion and amazing clarity with no strobing, no double flickering and a viewing experience that far exceeds conventional movie quality."
Zoe Saldana is already signed to reprise her role on the movie as Neytiri, which is a CGI character in the previous installment of the film. Apparently, Sam Worthington is going to return for the next installment as Jake Sully but at this time it is still unknown whether his character is going to appear as a CGI or whether his human form will appear in the movie. The interesting thing is that actors Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang have also been poised to feature in the new installment of the franchise. The thing is that if you watched the last installment of the movie, you would know that the characters died at the end of the movie. Aside from the characters here, there are no other members who have signed onto the cast. Avatar 2 has been slated to come out around December 2016 and will be followed closely with one year intervals, Avatar 3, 4 and 5 because they will be filmed back to back.
