"Listen Up Philip" is reviewed as a remarkable film with a very good performance of the actors. It is also Alex Ross Perry's most admirable movie to date after "The Color Wheel." The movie which is autobiographical can also be described as referential in the likes of Husband and Wives (Woody Allen).
"'Listen up Philip' is a summation of all I've observed, lived through, laughed at, narrowly avoided and absently longed for during my time in New York. The characters are unfailingly honest to a fault and there are no easy answers or simple solutions," Alex Ross Perry said.
