PlayStation TV Release Date: 700 Games up for Grabs and Streaming, Release Date in less than Two Weeks!
Sony had confirmed the release date of Playstation TV come October 14 in the US and November 14 in Europe as confirmed by TechRadar via Christian Today.
Avid gamers will be able to play PS Vita, PSP and PS One classics on the TV itself and it will allow users to stream a wide range of content, such as games, movies, and shows, to their TVs through Wi-Fi connectivity.
It is reported that there will be at least 700 games that can be streamed on the Playstation TV release date for free. "OlliOlli," "Velocity Ultra," and "Worms Revolution Extreme" were some of the games that is up for grabs.
The Playstation TV price will be released for a price of £84.99 or $99. It will also include 1GB of built-in storage, plus if costumers would like to get additional wireless DualShock 3 controller, 8GB memory card and "The Lego Movie" video game, they would have to pay up $139.99.
Japan was the first one to have experienced PSTV in Asia. Sony continues to expand its wide range of entertainment network services and went into an agreement to air 22 channels of Viacom Inc., including MTV and Comedy Central, for its online TV. However, the company has not yet announced an official launching date for such online TV service.
