The new Nokia Lumia 830 was just released last Friday in the United Kingdom. Compared to high end Nokia Lumia 930, its new unit is much cheaper. The features however, reflect the price. Still, this Windows phone is a gadget that many consumers will find attractive.

As reported by Know Your Mobile, U.K. phone retailers such as Amazon, Carphone Group, Dixons, EE, Tesco and Vodafone will be selling the Nokia Lumia 830. Buyers can expect the new phone to be available in black, white, bright green and bright orange.

During the Nokia 830 preview, Microsoft revealed some of the features that buyers should expect:

Apple's iPhone has Siri. Windows phone like Nokia Lumia 830 has Cortana, your personal digital assistant. This particular Lumia model has Carl ZEISS optics 10 MP camera, according to GSM Arena. With Living Images, the user will have no problem taking pictures of subjects with their expressions and emotions included. The Story teller app can upload these pictures to your favorite social network sites.

Nokia Lumia 830 is run by the Windows 8.1 along with software enhancements from the Lumia Denim. Productivity tools include Microsoft Office composed of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Another feature included is Microsoft One Drive which contains 15 GB of free storage.

This Windows operated Lumia has several pre-installed apps which includes Adidas miCoach, Flipboard, Instagram and Vimeo to mention a few.

The Lumia 830 unit is powered by a processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 400, according to the Official webiste of Nokia. The Snapdragon 400 is quad-core CPU running at 1.2 GHz. Users will enjoy the video and images on its ClearBlack's 5 inch display. The sunlight readability of the LCD display makes texting more convenient. The display is quite sensitive that one wearing gloves will have no problem using it. The phone's screen is protected by Corning's third version of Gorilla glass.The Adidas miCoach uses the inbuilt SensorCore which tracks your location and motion even if the phone is set on "sleep" mode.

The Nokia Lumia 830 can connect to the internet via WiFi , LTE, WCDMA and GSM. The 830 also has Bluetooth capability. This phone is powered by a 2200 mAh battery. This phone has the standard ports or jack for a headset and loudspeaker.
