Motorola Droid 5 Latest News and Updates: Another High-End Will it be Out in the Market Soon? Find Out Now
Since 2013, rumors about a 5th Motorola Droid have been surfacing. Also dubbed as Milestone 5, the rumored Motorola Droid 5 will also have a physical QWERTY keypad as do its predecessors.
It is said to run on Google's Android operating system; this can ensure that the phone would not have any problem adapting to the apps market today. Android is well-known for its flexibility and the freedom to customize.
With recent leaks and images, the Motorola Droid 5 is rumored to have a 4.7 inch screen with a 720 pixel resolution with 342 ppi. This is a slightly big upgrade from the Motorola Droid 4's 275 ppi. The additional .7 inches would also be a plus for media enthusiasts.
The camera is also being upgraded from its predecessors. It's rumored to be equipped with a clear 10 Mega Pixel camera. That's a two megapixel jump from the Droid 4.
Rumors about the Motorola Droid 5's processor are split between whether it will contain an S4 Plus processor chipset or an MSM8960 Dual Core Snapdragon Krait. Even so, either choice is still decent for the phone. It will also power by an Adreno 225 GPU, which means that mobile gamers would not have a problem. The RAM capacity of the phone is rumored to have 2 GB of memory, still, up to today's smartphone standards. Internal storage is said to be 16 GB with the support for external microSD memory card slot.
The Motorola Droid 5 is also rumored to support 4G LTE and will be run by a 2,000 mAh battery. Another plus is that it is also said to be shock proof. It is also water and dust resistant.
Clearly, the Motorola Droid 5 is a great choice for the outgoing types. The only downside ever since is there are still no official confirmations from Motorola itself. It has been a year already since the rumors started going around. Others also suggest that it would not even reach the market at all because they think that phones with QWERTY physical keypads are not well received the past years.
