HTC Desire Eye vs HTC One M8: Features, Specs, Price - A Comprehensive Comparison
There was lot of speculation before the launch of HTC Eye phone and now the air is clear as it falls under the flagship of HTC desire series. It has come out to rule the selfie segment in the smartphones. It has got most powerful front facing cameras with a high resolution.
It is an instant hit among the people love to take their own photos. Nowadays it has become a ritual of clicking selfies and photos from phone as it serves many purposes. People love to click selfies and upload on the social forums online.
There are many features that go similar in HTC smartphones that is Desire Eye and One M8. On the other hand they still carry their own image with certain differences. In terms of the make of the body HTC One M8 is little heavy with 160 gms, as it is a metal build body that looks very elegant and is curvy. Whereas with 152 gms of weight HTC desire Eye becomes light. It is flatter than M8. It has plastic body and comes in funky colors. There is another good feature attached with Desire Eye that it is water proof.
Though the manufacturers reveal not to use it underwater still it can withstand its stature in one meter of water level up to 30 minutes. It carries the waterproof rating of IPX7. HTC One M8 has the rating of IPX3.
If we compare the display screen of both the phones than you will find Desire Eye has 5.2" of display and HTC One M8 has 5 inches of screen. Both the phones have a display of 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The pixel density when compared is found slightly low in the Desire Eye but one can hardly make the difference out. It goes as 440 ppi in HTC One M8 and 423 ppi in Desire Eye.
The major difference that is seen is in the front and back cameras. Desire Eye is especially designed to serve the purpose for the camera and selfie lovers. It has 13 megapixels in the rear and front camera with the big front lens.
