'Criminal Minds' Season 10, Episode 3 Recap, Review, Latest News, Updates: Mass Carnage & Jennifer Love Hewitt is now a regular cast member
Talented actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is officially a regular cast member of"Criminal Minds" season 10. Viewers witnessed Love Hewitt as Agent Kate Callahan in "X", the first episode of the season. The viewers were given some hints that Callahan might just replace Agent Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn). Blake decided to leave Behavioral Analysis Unit or BAU after being traumatized by Reid's (Matthey Gray Gubler) gunshot wound incident.
In Episode 3 'A Thousand Suns' the whole team will investigate a plane crash in Colorado. It was no ordinary plane crash; rather a person yet to be identified caused it to malfunction. Labeled as a mass carnage, the BAU will have to 'dig in' and find out what really happened.
"Criminal Minds" followers will also witness why Callahan is a good addition to the BAU team. Witnessing the crash site was a bit much for Agent Callahan; her family died in a similar circumstance. But nevertheless Callahan proved that she can be part of the 'major-league'.
Only time will tell if "Criminal Minds" aficionados will accept Love Hewitt as part of the team. The show creators believe that Callahan is a perfect character for Love Hewitt after she demonstrated her acting skills in "The Client List" and "Ghost Whisperer".
Aside from Dr. Spencer Reid, Agent Callahan will also have to prove her worth to the other team members like: Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner played perfectly by Thomas Gibson; Jennifer "JJ" Jareau, who is none other than AJ Cook; David Rossi, enacted by Joe Mantegna; Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) and Penelope Garcia (Kristen Vangsness).
Some of the guests in episode three are : Natalie Lymor as a bridesmaid; Eden Riegel as the co-pilot's wife ; Chelsea Kurtz as the fiancee; Patricia Tallman as Captain Margot Nolan; Vic Chao as Co-Pilot Philip Tran; and Jed Sur as Frank Canvers.
Sharon Lee Watson wrote the third episode, 'A Thousand Suns", of season 10, while Rob Bailey showed his directorial skills. "Criminal Minds "season 10 has a total of 24 episodes and is under CBS production. All in all "Criminal Minds" TV series has a total of 212 episodes so far.
Episode three will be seen globally on October 15, 2015.
