Apple Watch Release Date Rumors & Images - Three Models Coming Soon
Over the past few months, a lot has been said about Apple Watches and how they can possibly be the future of technology after the smartphones. While there is every possibility that these watches will offer great functionality, critics believe that big companies are simply creating hype around these expensive products, which will hardly offer anything to the customers.
However, if you look at the stylish models introduced by Apple a month ago, believing critics' word will be difficult. People have already tried Samsung and Moto smart watches and they both seem insufficient when compared to the promised features of Apple Watch.
Created around the same Apple philosophy, the design for these watches are simple, elegant, and yet striking. Of course they tell time, but there is a lot more in the store. With built-in microphones and speakers, users get to answer their calls almost anywhere. They also get to read and reply to messages and emails. The powerful touchscreen allows effortless sketching, tap friends and transfer funds with Apple Pay. The best thing about this Watch is that it is synchronized with health applications on new iOS8 making it easier to keep track of your overall fitness.
Interestingly, iPhone 5, 5S, and 5C do not feature NFC chip to initiate Apple payments anywhere, anytime, and that is precisely where these watches will help. They have been designed to facilitate payment system beyond iPhone 6 and 6 Plus with inbuilt chip.
Fans already know that Apple Watch is coming in the first three months of 2015, but they do not know that Apple plans the launch of three models, i.e. Watch, Watch Sport and Special Edition. The basic variant has been engineered in Cold-forged stainless steel with a scratch resistance surface and beautiful link bracelet. Sport model is a lot more colorful made in anodized aluminum with ion-X glass and tough bands. Finally special edition is made in 18-karat gold and special bands or buckles. This is also the most expansive watch in the range expected to be released at $549 as compared to $299 for the basic Apple Watch.
