Heads up, anime fans! An upcoming movie based on the popular anime television series Dragon Ball Z is now coming to the big screen!
The Dragon Ball Z 2015 movie will be adapted from the world-renowned anime series created and popularized by Akira Toriyama and produced by Toei Animation. The story, which has been adapted to more than ten movies now, follows the story of main protagonist Goku and his friends as they go through adventures in defending planet Earth from a series of villains that threatens life, such as potent androids, almost undefeatable enchanted creatures and even interplanetary space fighters. The film, which is reportedly the fifteenth Dragon Ball Z movie so far, involves the story of Goku's adult life as well as the growth of his own son, Gohan.
The Dragon Ball Z 2015 trailer has been released just recently and made available on dragonball2015.com, the official website of the Dragon Ball Z 2015 movie. From the 44-second trailer that runs in Japanese, some of the main characters expected to be in included in the movie are shown, such as the speaking dragon Shernon and Goku. Reports also reveal that the plot will include rivals Piccolo and Vegeta as allies instead of enemies. Rumors even more so suggest that there is going to be the appearance of an evil Goku.
What more could be in store in the upcoming Dragon Ball Z 2015? Perhaps we shall only find out on May 2015! (Only in Japan this time, though-release outside of Japan is yet to be revealed.)
