iPod 6G Touch Release Date, Rumors, Reveals And News: The New iPod 6th Gen Could Include Touch ID, Apple's Finger Print Security Feature And Even Apple Pay In Addition To Syncing With The iPhone 6
We have the latest for you on the release date, rumors, reveals and news of iPod 6G Touch. It's not so long ago that Apple unveiled their latest two iPhone models that is iPhone 6 and 6 plus, well now they have a new product pending release to retailers. This is the iPod 6 which Christian post stated would launch in October 2014. The previous iPod that is currently in use launched a month after the release of iPhone 5. The iPod 6th generation will be just what the company needs to lift up its current sales. It was in last Septembers release of the two new iPhones that rumors began about the possible release of a new iPod, while others say it might not see the light of day, reported Cross Map news.
Tech observers tend to think if the device really indeed launches it might not take on a new look or specs from the current iPod since there has been no news on its release or a rumor of an update coming up from Apple while they still speculate that the expected iPod 6th generation may not even launch as they claim that the company may tend to concentrate on developing a new different device since the company's current sales margins of the iPod have declined to a large volume.
On a lighter note, those who currently support the release of the new iPod 6th generation are saying it will have a new feature that has also featured in the recent released iPhone 6 and which include the IOS 8 operating system set to be released this fall, reported KPoP Starz. The new iPod 6th gen could also carry new features from Apple which include Touch ID, Apple's finger print security feature and even Apple pay, and this is a new payment service launched by Apple that allows one to pay for Apple products by simply hooking up their credit card information to the iPod. All this new features are in an effort to increase security and convenience for the user.
Certain rumors also revealed that the iPod 6th gen will be designed in a way that will allow it to sync with the iPhone 6. The two are set to complement each other that is if the rumors hold water.
In other rumors the iPod Touch 6G may be launched alongside iPad air 2 and iPad Mini 3 on an upcoming Apple event.
