iPhone 6 Plus Size Vs Galaxy S5 Size: Critical Differences to Know About
Apple and Samsung have always been two of the most popular smartphone companies all across the world. Their products are exclusive and push technology to a new limit. Often it becomes almost impossible to choose one of them and now it has come to iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy S5.
Actually when it comes to getting a new smartphone or phablet, there are a lot of things that matter. While most people look at technology and features that it offers, many also relate it to screen size, which is rather wise. After all, who would like to carry a bulky phone with inconvenient screen size? That is probably why it is more than important to take a detailed look at screen size in proportion to dimensions and weight of the device.
Samsung Galaxy S5 offers 5.1-inch display, which around 8.5% more than what Apple iPhone 6 has. For some, screen size is all about the experience and that's probably why iPhone 6 Plus offers a comparatively better 5.5-inch screen with 3X resolution. If you are solely looking in terms of better screen size, Apple iPhone 6 Plus is definitely the winner here.
In terms of size and resolution ratio, if bigger screen size were all that we wanted the television would have been a far better choice here. However, it is important to know what these devices do with bigger display. While Samsung offers 1920 x 1080 pixels with Super AMOLED display, Apple has just 1080 x 1920 pixels with Retina Display. Many believe that Samsung's display is actually far better in the ratio to its screen size. The experience will be certainly better with 503,103 contrast ratio against 1,435 according to CNET.
For handling dimensions, which play an important role for ease of carrying, Samsung's Galaxy S5 stands at 142 mm by 73 mm by 8.1 mm against 158.1 mm by 77.8 mm by 7.1 mm. Clearly, Apple offers a slimmer model and will be easier to carry around. However, Versus believes that Galaxy S5 is a far better device simply because it costs way lesser, almost half with expandable memory.
