Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Releases First Trailer, Hits Theaters August 2014, WATCH HERE (VIDEO)
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back with the latest reboot from producer, Michael Bay. The film is set to hit theaters this Summer, on August 8th, 2014 and have released the highly anticipated first trailer (watch above).
The trailer features Times Square in the midst of destruction caused by the villainous Shredder (William Fitchner) and his fiendish Foot Clan. The preview also provides a glimpse on Megan Fox's lead role as April O'Neill, a fearless reporter who passes out when she runs into Michelangelo. The turtles might have looked a little different then expected, but still are pretty awesome.
Plot Summary: The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.
The reboot will cast Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, and Pete Ploszek as Leonardo. The upcoming summer film from Paramount Pictures is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and screenwriters Josh Appelbaum, Andrew Nemec, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and John Fusco.
