Gospel Singer Wess Morgan to Releases New Album LIVIN' May 2014
Pastor and Singer, Wess Morgan, releases his new album LIVIN' May 20th. LIVIN' features another powerful and life impacting hit "You Paid It All" and the classic "Lord You've Been So Good To Me" in which Morgan delivers with his signature soulful churchy style. Popular musician and artist Byron "Mr. Talkbox" Chambers (tobyMac, CeCe Winans, Group 1 Crew, Backstreet Boys, Gloria Estefan) joins Morgan on the all groovin' track "The Turn Around". LIVIN' releases May 20 on Morgan's own Bowtie World Music label with distribution via Central South Distribution.
He began his gospel music career in 2007 with a soulful debut release LOOK AT ME NOW. He followed up with a 2010 sophomore project, UNDER AN OPEN HEAVEN which featured the Celebration of Life Church Choir. The live two volume worship experience yielded radio hits, award nominations and sparked a national campaign and declaration - "I Choose To Worship". The "I Choose To Worship" single remained on the Billboard Gospel Radio Chart for over 57 weeks and earned a Stellar Award nomination for Song of the Year and also garnered a 2011 GMA Dove Award nomination for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year. In addition, this epic worship hit was named 2012 BMI's Gospel Song of the Year. The dedicated pastor and singer is now releasing an all new, musically diverse project, LIVIN'.
Morgan's growing ministry and exploding music career has taken the singer all over the world. He has continued to expand his brand from music to television and film. Wess Morgan is featured in Tyler Perry Productions "Laugh To Keep From Crying" and currently stars in the new "Madea's Neighbors From Hell" Stage Play/DVD.
Morgan is the Senior Worship Leader and Associate Pastor at Celebration of Life Church in Hendersonville, TN. He is also the founder and director of the Wess Morgan Foundation, an organization whose focus is drug and alcohol prevention and recovery.
