Bethel Music's "Moments: Might Sound" Debuts at No. 2

Bethel Music's brand new album Moments: Might Sound debuts on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart (dated May 26) at No. 2. The album was prevented from the top position by Mercyme's I Can imagine: The Very Best of Mercyme. Moments, recorded live at Bethel Church, includes Bethel Music members Amanda Cook, Steffany Gretzinger, Brian Johnson and Jenn Johnson, among others.
Moments: Mighty Sound moved 5,000 equivalent album units in its first week, ending May 17, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 4,000 were via traditional album sales. Bethel Music first made the Top Christian Albums top 10 in its debut chart appearance, as The Loft Sessions opened at No. 3 in 2012.
"As worship leaders, we lead until our leading is no longer necessary and then we enhance what God is doing," said Bill Johnson, Senior Leader at Bethel. "The goal should be that we disappear."
With extended moments of spontaneous worship, this album captures the essence of Bethel Music's worship and the cry of a people hungry for God's world to invade ours. With abandoned and unfiltered adoration, Moments: Mighty Sound aims to usher listeners into an encounter with the living God who inhabits the praises of His people. Amanda Cook, Brian Johnson & Jenn Johnson, Brittany Mondesir, Jeremy Riddle, Kalley Heiligenthal, Leeland Mooring, Melissa Helser, Molly Skaggs, Paul McClure, Reuben Morgan and Steffany Gretzinger are included on Moments: Mighty Sound.
