A Walk Among The Tombstones Release Date, Movie Spoilers, Cast, Teasers, and More!

"A Walk Among Tombstones" is a film based on the 1992 novel written by Lawrence Brock. It will be in theaters starting September 19, 2014. This film is directed by Scott Frank, which is also based from the screenplay that Frank have also written. Liam Neeson is one of the lead stars, playing the main protagonist. Together with Matt Scudder, who would be playing a disgraced x-NYPD police, alcoholic, and unlicensed private investigator, the movie is said to be much awaited. 

In this film, a heroin trafficker hired Scudde to track down the people responsible for kidnapping and killing his wife. As Scudder started to accomplish his task, he discovered that he is in for a bigger chase than he have envisioned. He realized that the people responsible for the crime have killed and are killing more people than he expected. This made him feel responsible to hunt for all these people and stop them from killing other people again.

"A Walk Among Tombstones" got the rating of 'R' from MPAA because the film contains disturbing scenes and language. The movie presented cold-blooded killing, profanities, nudity, and much more violence than younger people should not see. The casts include Boyd Holdbrook, Sebastian Roche, Dan Stevens, Olafur, Ruth Wilson, Toshiko Onizawa, Purva Vedi, Eric Nelsen, Darri Olafsson, Mark Consuelos, Marie Heller, Stephanie Andujar, David Harbor, and many more getting supporting roles. 

"Liam Neeson as Scudder struck me as a wonderful idea back when I saw him portray Michael Collins in the eponymous film. I can't think of anyone I'd rather see in the role.... Neeson has been up at the top of my personal Scudder wish list. I couldn't be happier about either the star or the writer/director, both of them genuine artists and brilliant professionals. My book's in good hands,'' Brock said.
