The fourth season of popular American series Homeland is expected to premiere on 5^th October on Showtime. The series has gained popularity and a huge following over the years. There is something associated with the CIA agent Carrie that connected enthusiasts of the series in a very exquisite and yet striking way. Most of the things she goes through are same things that many a people encounter in their day to day lives as opposed to her heroics in fighting in what she believes in. A trailer released online shows Carrie leaving her first-born baby behind and goes off to the Middle East for her mission.

Enthusiasts know that the series will be released on 4th October while the first episode will be aired on 5^th October; few know that this season will only have 12 episodes. In the mean time, names of the first five episodes are out - The Drone Queen, Trylon and Perisphere, Shalwar Kameez, Iron in the Fire and About a Boy. The plot will shift now to the Middle East countries including Pakistan and Afghanistan. Even though the plot revolves around Pakistan and Afghanistan, filming of the show was taken to South Africa, doubling as Middle East. Carrie has left her family far behind and she will have to struggle with her bipolar personality. It remains to be seen if she gets stressed or finds a friend on this mission.
