Susan Boyle Returns with Her Sixth Inspirational Album "Hope"

Britian's Got Talent's Susan Boyle will return with her brand new inspirational album "Hope" via SYCO/Columbia Records on October 21, 2014. Ever since she was launhed onto the International music scene in 2009, Boyle has sold over 22 million albums and now she returns with an incredible album of inspiration songs, her sixth studio album in five years. Currently, "Hope" is available for pre order at Amazon here.
Featuring breathtaking renditions of Bart Millard's "I Can Only Imagine," the hymn "Abide with Me," Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" and Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water," Susan also fearlessly takes on the iconic John Lennon song, "Imagine" giving it a new identity. Susan continues to defy expectations with her globally successful career. As she prepares to tour the USA for the first time in October 2014 (full list of tour dates below), this astounding sixth album is set to once again remind people of the voice the world fell in love with in 2009, when she stepped on to the Britain's Got Talent stage, with hope and a dream.
Talking about her sixth album Susan said, "I have really enjoyed making this album. I had a huge input in music suggestions and finally have been able to record one of my all time favourites, "Angel," originally by Sarah McLachlan. I also am pleased to be able to sing some up tempo songs that show variation in my repertoire. There are also iconic songs, which were a risk to take on but I hope I've done them justice in my own way. John Lennon's "Imagine" was one of the hardest to record, not because of the music or the vocals but because I wanted to do his song justice. Of course the die -hard Lennon fans will probably criticize but I hope that people like my personal take on the song. I themed this album around inspiration and hope because those are two elements we all need in our life to drive us forward and inspire us to go out and capture our dreams- they worked for me after all."
Joining the creative team this year was Royal photographer Jason Bell, best known for his stunning images of Prince William, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George. The spectacular images of Susan, the best of her five year career, were taken by Jason Bell in Hertfordshire in the summer of 2014.
Hope was produced in Glasgow by Cliff Masterson and Steve Anderson. The duo, who worked on Susan's last album, Home For Christmas, are highly regarded producers who have also worked with Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue, Emeli Sande and Westlife.
