'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Premiere Spoilers: News, Plot, Cast, Release Updates
Last February 13, 2014, the CW Network has decided to renew The Vampire Diaries drama series for a sixth season.
The Vampire Diaries is a one-hour long American supernatural drama series, which centers on a high school girl who captivated two vampire brothers.
While obscuring their real individuality as vampires, Brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore both live normal lives. The two turn into bloodthirsty supernatural back in Virginia town. Between the two, Stefan is righteous contrary to his brother Damon, who is wicked in nature. Stefan meets Elena, a schoolgirl whose friend is a sorceress. Elena captures Stefan's heart.
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 cast members include this year's People's Choice Award Winner Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, 2013 Teen Choice Award Nominee and 2013 People's Choice Award Nominee Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, this year's People's Choice Award Winner Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore, 2007 Beverly Hills Film Festival Best Male Performance Awardee and 2013 Teen Choice Award Nominee Steven McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert, 2013 and this year's Teen Choice Award Nominee Kat Graham as Bonnie Bennett, 2013 Teen Choice Award Nominee and 2012 Teen Choice Awardee Candice Accola as Coroline Forbes, Zach Roerig as Matt Donovan, 2012 Teen Choice Award Winner Michael Trevino as Tyler Lockwood, Matthew Davis as Alaric Saltzman, and Michael Malarkey as Enzo.
Nina Dobrev's other recent projects are The Originals, Robot Chicken, Let's Be Cops, and The Final Girls (in 2015) besides from The Vampire Diaries television series. Wesley's other latest projects are Before I Disappear and Sam and Amira. Somerhalder's other project this 2014 is The Anomaly.
The supernatural series also features guest casts, including Gabrielle Walsh plays Sarah, Colin Ferguson as Tripp, and Emily Chang as Ivy.
Jeffrey Hunt, Pascal Verschooris, and Michael Allowitz are set to pilot the first three episodes of the supernatural drama series. The Vampire Diaries is written and executive produced by 2010 TV Quick Award Nominee Julie Plec, together with Caroline Dries, Julie Plec, and Brian Young, contributing as writers.
It was revealed by executive producer Julie Plec that the episode premiere title for the series' new season will be I Remember. The comeback of Bonnie and Damon in season 6 was also announced by the executive producer.
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 is plotted to debut in television on the October 2 this year, on CW network.
