'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 FX Cast Interview with Theo Rossi & Kim Coates About Series Ending, Watch Here (VIDEO)
"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 is wrapping up filming the final episodes and the cast is reflecting on their time on the hit show. TheWrap recently caught up with cast stars Kim Coates and Theo Rossi about their experiences on the show and how it feels to have the show come to a close. You can check out the interview above.
"We could still be telling this story for five more years, but when we signed on for a seven-year contract, in Sutter's mind, that's what it was always going to be," Kim said on wrapping up the show. "We are stopping this show on the top of the world, for sure...It's coming to an end real fast."
Star Charlie Hunnam revealed that is character Jax is in a fragile state this final season. "Jax is in a very kind of schizophrenic state, I think. I mean, he's obviously very, very sad and vulnerable and kind of broken, but there's a huge amount of vengeance and anger in his heart," the 34-year-old actor told Zap2it.
The FX premiere for the final season of "Sons of Anarchy" aired on Tuesday night, September 9th and with the finale in December.
FX also launched a live aftershow for the fans following the premiere. They called it "Anarchy Afterword" and was a first for the network. The live aftershow will air twice this season, after the premiere and after the series finale. "Sons of Anarchy" is following the aftershow trend of AMC's "Talking Bad (Breaking Bad)" and "Talking Dead (The Walking Dead)", A&E's "After Hours (Bates Motel)" and MTV's "Wolf Watch (Teen Wolf)". Fans will be able to submit questions through a toll-free number and on social media.
Season 7 began 10 days later (since Season 6 finale) with Jax in jail on a parole violation, grappling with the loss of the woman he loved. With the club's support, he sets in motion the brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution.
"Sons of Anarchy" is a motorcycle drama from creator Kurt Sutter starring Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Theo Rossi, Jimmy Smits, Drea de Matteo, Peter Weller, Niko Nicotera, David LaBrava, Mark Boone Jr., Kim Coates and Tommy Flanagan.
